We first discovered this locale accidentally, when we were driving back from the Coast to Brisbane and it was our first road trip in Australia, so of course we "re-routed" quite a few times, but every time we took a wrong turn, we ended up discovering a new location, kinda like all those great explorers eh, who always landed up at the wrong place and made the most of it..lol.
Anyways.....I have never been to Europe, so my idea of how Europe might be comes from Tamborine Mountains. The temperature is always a few degrees lower than the city, it gets cold and misty and absolutely romantic in winters, and it reminds me of the hill stations in India (minus the pollution & population haha). It has everything a girl needs, shopping for cute antiques, chocolate & coffee heaven and last but not the least wineries.
Yesterday was no different, here are some pictures that might help you envision this, not so famous tourist attraction.
The clouds just covered the city view- you can see Gold Coast sky line from here |

They are our fav and the lady at the shop said she cant make enough of these, they are always running low as they are very popular.
Other than that it was a very chill weekend, we watched a few movies and ate (a lot) and pretty much got re-energised for the work week ahead.
Hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend and a good start to your week.
